  • Working on new design concepts for the next generations of legged robots

  • Design & engineering of legs, shells, IP67 sensor housings, handles, protectors, drive cooling of ANYmal C

  • FEA analysis of these components, checking fatigue, yield and displacement

  • Optimizing parts for manufacturability and cost, evaluating alternative components

  • Close coordination with manufacturers

  • Teaching courses about resilient modeling strategies to the other engineers in various CAD systems

  • Successful application to Gebert Rüf foundation for a design grant of 150K
