2015-2016

David worked as a senior mechanical engineer at Perspective Robotics from 2015 to 2016. During this time he developed two unmanned areal platforms, the Pro for journalists and the Phi for consumers.

  • Fast prototype iteration.

  • Translating design ideas into actual working prototypes.

  • R&D of the folding arms and the locking mechanism on the Phi.

  • Engineering and development of complex, lightweight plastic injection molded parts, class-A surfacing, with a very tight manufacturing budget.

  • Sourcing of reliable manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia.
