To promote the 2000 Watt Society the city of Zurich presented an interactive installation of a 3D underwater world at the World Expo Shangai 2010.

Visitors stood on a seesaw and had to balance it out horizontally, the 2000 Watt zone. An inclinometer read out the angle of the seesaw and moved the main characters up or down in this underwater world.

YOLK created and animated the characters and scenery and developped the electronics to read out the angle of the seesaw. Freelance programmer Markus Braach programmed the interactions, marvelous fish swarms, ingenious behavioral engines and much more.
